How to Play
1. Print out a copy of your island for your cabinet crew.
2. Discuss with your cabinet crew the order in which the career clusters should be researched.
3. Upon agreement, begin researching the jobs that would be most important in the first cluster.
4. Choose 1 of the activities from the Tic-Tac-Toe chart to present your research.
5. Upon completion your group will receive a badge for the career and you must place the badge on your poster in the appropriate location.
6. After earning tic-tac-toe on the activity board, you will earn a super-badge and your population will increase by 100.
During play your island must maintain a minimum population of 20 or you must rebuild your island. The population at any time could be wiped out from natural disasters or man-made disasters due to lack of research on career clusters.
To maintain this balance you must be researching constantly to earn badges and multiply population.
Rules:
1. All members of the group are responsible for building the island. Hence each member should choose to research and complete an activity from a career cluster to help build the island.
2. Once 1 square has been used on the tic-tac-toe chart for a particular cluster, then it cannot be used again. There is 1 tic-tac-toe chart for each cluster.
3. The badge must be placed on the island as soon as you receive it, and cannot be replaced if lost.
2. If your population drops below 20, you must start a new island.
3. During quarter break, your team may hire a another team member from another group to provide research and activity for your island. But you must write a want ad and advertise the position.
